About Us
We are Talking Backwards: an indie rock band of 3 years born in Kansas City, MO and currently based in Austin, TX. We have a unique sound as we draw influences from multiple genres such as math rock, folk and jazz. We just released our sophomore studio album, “2 0 7” earlier this year and are hard at work creating more music for our fans!
ACHIEVEMENTS:
won the American Royal World Series of BBQ’s annual Battle of the Bands in 2022
recorded and released an EP and two LPs
featured on radio stations such as 90.9 The Bridge, 90.1 KKFI and Warrior Radio
toured Colorado in 2024
performed with notable artists such as Me Like Bees, Lost Stars and Ruthie Craft
